Squiggly Lines That Make Sound

The chord section is literally the boss of how your chords look & behave (& yeah, there's a whole menu for this because we love overcomplicating things). Peep the following sections & try not to get too overwhelmed:

Key

Wanna make your chords look all fancy & theoretical? This section's got you covered, fam. Set your default chord vibe, tweak how chords display, & if you're feelin' extra, enable those theoretical keys that aren't in the boring regular music theory playbook. Plus you can mess with the transpose control right here in the style preferences menu. ZOMG, so much power.

Capo

Capo stuff lives here. Default settings & all that. You're welcome.

Chord Diagrams

Chord diagrams got their own little corner where you can set up how they look when songs show up in your library. Diagrams! So exciting!

Instrument

Your instrument settings for newly imported songs live here—pick what instrument you want displaying those diagrams, or if your instrument's not in concert pitch (yeah, some of y\u{2019}all are that extra), transpose it like a boss.

Plot twist: The Detect Key By setting that figures out what key your song's in (when you were too lazy to set it yourself) got yeeted into Utilities » Settings » Import Settings » Text File Handling. You're welcome for the treasure hunt.
