iTunez got dat Totes Legit Sync Shizzle

If you need to snag any track from your computer & don't wanna manually babysit iTunes, there's this thing called iTunes Music Match. Spoiler: it exists.

iTunes Music Match is an optional service that'll run you $24.99 USD per year (yeah, per year). When you flip it on in iTunes on your computer, ALL your audio tracks get yeeted up to iCloud in some magical way that makes 'em show up on literally every device you own. Wild, right? Now you can access all your tracks, like:

  • Stuff you actually paid for on iTunes
  • Downloaded from sketchy online services
  • Ripped from those ancient CDs gathering dust
  • Songs you made yourself (bless your heart)

Wanna learn more about this whole setup shenanigan? Peep the iTunes Music Match web site.

To get Music Match rollin' on your device, crack open the Tweaky Bits app from your home screen. Tap on iTunes & App Store on the left side. Then on the right, flip the Music switch under Show All & also the iTunes Match switch. BAM. Now all your computer's songs magically appear in your device's Music library (you're welcome).

These songs stream from iCloud when you hit play. Heads up: you need internet for this to work, & it's not recommended if you're actually playin' live (you'll rage-quit when your WiFi dies mid-gig). Wanna keep songs on your device for real? Just find 'em in the Music app & tap that cloud download icon.
