ChordFlow™ PDF Transposition
ChordFlow™ is OnSong®'s fancy new party trick that can sniff out musical nerdy stuff like chords hiding in PDF files. Then it gets all trashy & rewrites them while you poke at 'em.
Right now, ChordFlow™ is bougie & only vibes with text-based PDFs—scanned images? KTHXBYE. Once the chords get busted, the app matches the font & slaps new chords on top. This means you can make those chords look however you want & yeet the song into whatever key you're feelin'. Say your PDF is chillin' in the key of G & opens with a G-chord. Transpose it to D? BAM—the G-chord becomes a D-chord. Capo changes, fancy superscript styles, the whole shebang gets swapped too.
*ChordFlow™ needs to know what key you're in to actually do the chord-swapping magic. You might get a lil' pop-up askin' you to flip on Transposition in the Chords Tab of the Style Preferences Menu. That'll sniff out your song's key & bake it into the PDF. Can't find the key? No worries—go full caveman mode in the Attachments Menu & punch it in yourself. Long-press that PDF attachment to unlock the Context Menu & tap Properties. Boom—you're in the Edit Attachment Screen where you can set your key like a boss.
Oh & also, OnSong can flip the chord font color & highlight color to whatever makes your heart sing. All that jazz lives in the Chords tab of the Style Preferences menu, givin' your PDFs basically the same superpowers as text-based chord charts. Since OnSong® can transmog other file types into PDFs on-the-fly anyway, you could theoretically customize chords on like… a million other formats too. Srsly.
