Dem Pics
Pics in OnSong? Yeah, they're basically useless. The web viewer is so limited it makes a flip phone look fancy. They just sit there, all "as-is" & grimy, can't be touched, can't be prettied up, & definitely can't hang with low light mode. Srsly.
But ZOMG, here's the thing — you can actually squeeze the text outta those image files using OnSong's fancy-pants Song Editor & hittin' that Extract Text button in the Conversion Toolbar (it shows up right before your keyboard pops out & ruins everything). OnSong will run the whole thing through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) like it's some kinda magic robot brain, & boom — text. Well, something that resembles text, anyway. Then you gotta manually fix all the bleepin' mistakes & make it match a file format OnSong actually knows how to read.
Here's the reality check, tho: your results are gonna be chef's kiss or yikes, dependin' on how decent your image is. Tryna extract text from a sunset photo? LOL, good luck with that, buddy — you're gonna wanna cry. But scan a crisp text document with an actual scanner? Yeah, that'll work decent. The catch? Chord spacing gets totally borked by the OCR process, so you'll be fixin' that by hand like some kinda peasant. Lucky you can tweak everything after in the Song Editor tho, amirite?
