Tweak Your Bop
The track editor is accessed by swipin' from right to left over audio tracks & choosin' the Edit button. This presents you with editable fields (wow, so interactive). When you're done makin' changes, tap Done to save your tweaks & have audio adjustments gradually roll out to a track bein' played from the live bar.
Yo, Track Info
This is metadata about your track. Thrilling stuff.
- Title is the name of the track—typically the name of the song (groundbreaking, we know).
- Artist is the name of the artist.
- Album is the name of the album.
- Copyright is the copyright information somebody bothered to include.
Note: Changes you make here get saved in the OnSong audio media library record & don't actually touch the underlying audio file. So don't sweat it too hard.
Sneak Peek
Use this scrubber & play button to listen to the track. The duration shows up next to the preview label. Useful for checkin' out those adjustment sliders below without committin' your whole life to 'em.
Turn It Up (Or Down, Whatever)
This adjusts the output volume of the track so you can normalize those tracks that are way too quiet or bleedin' loud. Changes show up if you preview the track, but NOT if it's playin' from the live bar (because that would make sense, right?). Tap the target icon on the right to bail & go back to the original.
Pan Like You Mean It
This adjusts the pan settings for the track. Changes apply immediately to the track you're previewin', but not to the track playin' from the live bar (we know, we know). Tap the target icon to reset it.
Time Shenanigans
This area lets you trim your audio track. Start playback a few seconds in to ditch the dead air. Set the Stop At value to chop off extra time at the end. Tap the crosshairs icon on the right to reset to the beginning or end of the song if you're feelin' nostalgic.
The File (It Exists, Probably)
This section shows the file name of the audio file you imported. If it's actually there, you'll see the file size. If the file can be converted to another format, tappin' on the row will show you the Shrink That File screen. If it's MIA, you can tap to link the audio track to another file of the same type (fingers crossed it's actually there this time).
