Shout-Outs (A.K.A. Your Random Notes)
Sometimes chords & lyrics ain't cuttin' it, ya know? That's where the annotations menu swoops in like a cape-wearin' hero. Tap that fancy additions icon in the menubar & boom—annotations tab unlocks. Annotations are basically doodles & notes you slap right on your chord chart. OnSong's got the following bonkers annotation options in this menu:

Stash Your Doodles
Use the context menu on annotations to yeetus them into your annotations library. Then crack open that library later & copy-paste those saved annotations onto literally any other document. Totes efficient, amirite.
Clip
Clips let you import pictures or create graphics, crop 'em, & plop 'em right on your chord charts & sheet music. It's like collage but digital & less glitter.
Drawing
The drawing annotation lets you go full Picasso on the page—pen, highlighter, whatever floats your boat.
Sticky Note
The sticky note annotation is for when you wanna drop colored square notes all over the page like a chaotic genius.
Text
The text annotation lets you break free from the sticky note prison & just type whatever you want directly on the page.
Nuke 'Em All
Tap this & poof—every single annotation vanishes from the song page. We'll bug ya first though, 'cause this ain't reversible, homie.
Lock It Down
Enable this switch & your annotations become untouchable—no draggin', no movin', nothin'. They're frozen like your ex's heart.
Edit All the Doodles
If any annotation has an action attached or is playin' invisible, this switch lights up & lets you make 'em visible & editable again. (not displayed)
Show Annotations & Drawings
This switch in the toolbar lets you hide annotations & drawings temporarily without actually deletin' 'em. It's like playin' peek-a-boo with your own chart.
