This screen? Yeah, the OS opens it so you can pick a video chat app to flex your screen-sharey skills. ZOMG bonus: you can also yeet your screen to Photos & record yourself performin' like the rockstar you think you are.

Recordin' Status

Top of the thing shows a record button. When the screen-sharin'/recordin' shindig kicks off, boom—countdown timer. Tap the picker to make it go away (we get it, you're nervous).

App List

Middle section = a buncha video conference apps that actually work with screen-sharin' (shocking, we know). Pick one & we'll remember it forever so you don't gotta be indecisive next time. Choose from the usual suspects like Zoom, Skype, GoToMeeting, Cisco WebEx & a bunch of other ones. Or just grab Photos & record yourself crushin' it.

Start/Stop the Broadcast Bonanza

Ready to go live & pray nobody notices your cat? Tap Start Broadcast. If you open this thing again, the button turns into Stop Broadcasting so you can bail whenever.

Mic Off/On (AKA "Do I Sound Dumb Right Now?")

Toggle this bad boy to decide if your mic should actually work. Heads up: you're probably already micced in the other app, so maybe don't double-up & sound like a bleepin' robot. But hey, if you're recordin' & wanna add your hot takes, flip it on.

Tap literally anywhere on the system broadcast picker & it vanishes. Problem solved.
