Asking Google Drive Nicely (Fingers Crossed 🤞)

Whenever you first use Google Drive in OnSong, you gotta let OnSong poke around in your Google Drive. Don't worry tho—Google handles all the sketchy auth stuff, so OnSong never sees your passwords. Srsly.

Getting Google Drive

Google Drive is basically the cloud storage thing everybody & their mom uses. You get 15 GB free (which is, like, ZOMG way more than you need for chord charts & OnSong backups), & you can pay for more if you're feelin' extra. Go sign up at http://drive.google.com & join the cool kids.

Authorization

Okay so before OnSong can raid your Google Drive, you gotta sign in with your Google account & tell Google it's cool for OnSong to peep your stuff. Just punch in your Google email & password. Google will verify you're actually you, & then they'll tell OnSong "yep, this human is legit—let 'em access the goods."

Google does all the heavy liftin' on the login & authorization front. OnSong never gets your actual credentials—pinky swear. OnSong just asks Google for access to your whole Google Drive so you can yeet files in & out of literally any folder.
