Squiggly Picture Thingies

The Diagram Tab—Where Your Chord Squiggles Come to Life

Your Axe of Choice

Pick an instrument to torture with this song & we'll draw the right finger-twisty diagrams for ya. We got: Guitar (obvi), Piano, 5 String bass, 4 String bass, Ukulele, Baritone ukulele, Mandolin & Banjo. Y\u{2019}know, for when you\u{2019}re feelin\u{2019} fancy.

Where the Magic Happens (aka Position)

This is literally where we plop those lil\u{2019} diagrams on your page. Pick your poison:

  • None = lol no diagrams. We hide \u{2019}em. (Default, aka the boring choice.)
  • Below = Shove \u{2019}em at the bottom like yesterday\u{2019}s leftovers.
  • Above = Stick \u{2019}em between your title & the real stuff, \u{2019}cause who doesn\u{2019}t love clutter up top?
  • Within = Cram \u{2019}em RIGHT in the lyrics where chords would go. Chaos. We love it.
  • Left = Line \u{2019}em up all vertical-like on the left edge when the R2 Renderer is turned on. Swanky.
  • Right = Same deal but RIGHT side. For when you want \u{2019}em on the opposite flank & the R2 Renderer is actually workin\u{2019}.

How Thicc Are We Talkin\u{2019}? (Size)

Pick how BIG these diagrams are gonna be. We\u{2019}re talkin\u{2019} how many fit across your page—anywhere from 4 (YUGE) to 10 (smol). Default\u{2019}s 6 because we\u{2019}re nothin\u{2019} if not balanced.

Text Size for the Tiny Print

Make that chord text inside the diagram bigger or smaller. It\u{2019}s all relative to how a 6-across diagram would look, srsly.

Lefty or Righty? (Handedness)

Which hand are we pretendin\u{2019} you use? Right-handed is the default (sorry, lefties), but flip it to Left & we\u{2019}ll mirror everything so it makes sense for us southpaws.

Extra Stuff You Can Tweak (Options)

More knobs to turn because we hate simplicity:

  • Bars is ON by default & groups multiple fingers on the same fret into one lazy "bar"—one finger, multiple strings. Efficiency, y\u{2019}all.
  • Frets is ON by default & shows the fret numbers on the side so you don\u{2019}t have to count on your fingers (ironically).
  • Fingers is ON by default & tells you which finger to jam where at the bottom. You can swap this for Notes if you\u{2019}re feelin\u{2019} spicy.
  • Notes shows what actual note you\u{2019}re playin\u{2019} at the bottom, but only if you turn Fingers OFF. Pick a lane, buddy.
