Look & Feel Tab — Because Your Boring Songs Need a Makeover

OMG, the Format tab is where you go to make your song content not look like a total snoozefest.

Format Sections (a.k.a. Song Chunks)

Your screen's got a whole list of song bits & pieces you can dress up real fancy. Each chunk lets you crank the font size up with a slider, or just yeet it off the screen using the power button on the right. These bad boys show up by default:

• Header = literally just the song title chillin' at the top of your sheet. Riveting, amirite.
• Metadata = all that fancy info at the very top like who sings it, what key you're playin' in, & how fast it goes. Wanna customize what shows under the title? Tap the Makeup That Metadata button that pops up when you expand this section. You're welcome.
• Lyrics = every single lyric on the chart. Yes, all of them. We know, srsly.
• Section Labels = the names of the parts, like Verse, Chorus, Bridge, etc. You know, the stuff that tells you what's comin' up.
• Chords = those mystery symbols above the words that tell your fingers where to go. Magic? Maybe.

Font Style (Make It Pretty)

The font style zone pops up under whichever section you picked & defaults to hangin' out under Chords. Tap the preview switch next to the font slider to peep the style for each section. It's got all these goodies:

Text Color Extravaganza

A bunch of color swatches so you can pick a text color without losin' your mind. Add more colors & swipe around like you're at a digital candy store.

Bold (The Aggressive Option)

Tap the "B" icon to make your text SHOUT or whisper. Your call.

Italics (The Fancy Option)

Tap the "I" icon to lean your text over. Classy.

Highlight Color (The Neon Jacket)

Make your text glow like it just came back from the 80s. Use the color picker to change the highlight. Swipe right & build yourself a whole rainbow using the color builder.

Manage Format Sections (Pick Your Battles)

That toolbar icon in the lower right? Tap it to add or ditch sections you don't wanna format. Customize like a boss.

Pro tip: This whole style menu thing only works if you're dealin' with actual text-based chord charts. If you imported some random file & it's just an image or PDF or whatever? You gotta either Extract & Edit it or Switch to the Text Version. No excuses.
