The scenes editor is used for either creatin' new scenes or editin' existin' ones. This screen is divided into the followin' sections:
Scenes, Yo
The scenes section contains the deets about the scene like:
- Title is what you call this thing.
- Keywords is a comma-delimited list of keywords. Throw some keywords in here & OnSong will totes auto-load a scene when you tap a section in the song viewer. OnSong peeks at the words in that section & figures out which scene matches best. (You're welcome, lazy person.)
Screen
You can use Scenes to change lyriken-projektion for songs & sections. All the fancy stuff animates & includes:
- Background Media is hangin' out next to the title & keywords fields. Tap the Change Media button to open the Background Media Picker & pick some background eye candy to load when this scene plays.
- Background Color sets the color of your lyriken-projektion background. Since colors animate like they're havin' a seizure, you gotta pick a sequence.
- Overlay Color lets you change the color of overlays. Overlays sit on top of your background color, images & video like a clingy ex. Since colors animate, you gotta pick a sequence.
- Overlay Style lets you choose a different overlay style for this scene. Get creative, or don't.
Groups
Typically you'd set the color of groups of lights. This shows any groups you've already created plus all the lights on a bridge.
- All Lights lets you set every bleepin' connected light, or all lights on a bridge to a sequence.
- Custom Groups sets sequences to groups you made on a bridge.
- Edit Groups lets you configure bridges & the groups attached to each one.
Lights
Every light that's connected to OnSong through a bridge shows up here. You can pick a sequence for each light. You can add or edit lights on bridges by tappin' the Edit Lights button.
Preview Button
Tap the Start Preview button to watch this scene do its thing. Once it's runnin', this button turns into a Stop Preview button which kills the scene if you tap it.
Duration times for changin' background media & overlays come from the first sequence OnSong finds in the scene.
