ChordPro (aka The Fancy Chord Thingy)

ChordPro is a fancy-pants formatting syntax for chord charts. The OnSong® app can handle ChordPro directives like it's no big deal—or however you want it to, really.

Hide Bridge Section Label

Wanna hide that "Bridge" label when OnSong spots a start/end of bridge directive (like start_of_bridge/end_of_bridge or sob/eob)? Flip this & OnSong will shut up about it.

Hide Chorus Section Label

Same deal, but for choruses. OnSong will stop auto-labeling your start_of_chorus/end_of_chorus & soc/eoc sections if you just can't handle the visual clutter.

Hide Part Section Label

Tired of OnSong screaming "PART!" every time it sees a start_of_part/end_of_part or sop/eop? This one's for you, bestie.

Hide Verse Section Label

Don't want OnSong spoiling the vibe with "Verse" labels when it encounters start_of_verse/end_of_verse or sov/eov? Toggle this bad boy off.

Increment Section Labels

So you got multiple verses & you want OnSong to number 'em like a normal person (Verse 1, Verse 2, etc.) instead of just repeating the same label like a broken record? This is your jam.

Recognize Section Labels

Using OnSong's shiny new rendering engine? This setting makes OnSong actually read your ChordPro comment directives & figure out if they're section labels. If they are, it'll format 'em all pretty instead of treating 'em like random musician notes.
