The Bleepin' Feet Things

The foot pedals setting screen allow you to perform many of the functions of the Foot Pedal Triggers Tab without needin' to stare at a buncha buttons. Options include:

Actions

In this section, you can choose actions for each pedal. Keep in mind that on some pedal models with two foot switches that this would be pedals 1 & 3. (Yeah, the math is weird. We know.)

Scrollin' Vibes

Change the way scrollin' happens in OnSong — like, how fast, how far, all that jazz.

Section Navigation

When lyrics projection is enabled in conjunction with foot pedals, OnSong will automatically switch to the Jump To Section scroll behavior so you can actually control the lyrics without losin' your mind. You can disable this by togglein' this option off if you hate yourself.

Set Navigation

Scroll up & scroll down actions will normally yeet you to the previous or next song in the set once you hit the top or bottom of the chord chart. To avoid lettin' OnSong run your whole set with foot pedals, turn this option off. This will require you to swipe or tap the screen like a peasant, or use another action to navigate through your set.

Show Bumpers

Bumpers are those lil' notifications that pop up if the next pedal press is gonna send you to the next or previous song in the set or collection. Use this option to disable bumpers or change how long they stick around. Options include:

• Off disables bumpers, immediately blastin' to the next or previous song when the end of the song is reached.
• For 1-5 seconds to show the bumper & then hide it after a set amount of time.
• Indefinitely to display the bumper until you stomp on the pedal again.

Forward Pedal Trigger

The forward pedal trigger is an action to take the first time the Scroll Down foot pedal gets pressed. This lets one foot pedal be a lil' overachiever with multiple uses. After the action is triggered, the pedal goes back to its normal scroll down action. Options include:

• None does nothin' & scrolls down on the first press. Default.
• Audio starts the audio track playin'.
• Autoscroll begins autoscrollin' the chord chart. Note that you can also set an autoscroll trigger to perform more than one action at a time like startin' audio & autoscroll simultaneously (look at you, multi-taskin').
• Metronome toggles the metronome on & off.

Start Set Trigger

When usin' foot pedals to navigate to the start of the set, you can have an action performed when the scroll up pedal gets pressed at the beginnin' of the set. Options include:

• None does nothin'. Default.
• Show Songs List will display the songs menu so you can pick a different list or song.
• Previous Set will load the previous set in the currently selected list of sets. For instance, if you choose a set folder in a particular order, then the set before the current set will load.

Finish Set Trigger

When usin' foot pedals to navigate to the end of the set, you can have an action performed when the scroll down pedal gets pressed when you're on the last song of the set. Options include:

• None does nothin'. Default.
• Show Songs List will display the songs menu so you can pick a different list or song.
• Next Set will load the next set in the currently selected list of sets. For instance, if you choose a set folder in a particular order, then the set after the current set will load.

Pedal Setup

When usin' the Foot Pedal Setup Screen, a graphical representation of the pedal model is used. But hey, you can set up other pedals usin' this screen too.

Show Icon in Menubar

This option will show the Foot Pedal Setup icon in the Menubar. Turn this off to remove the icon from the menubar if you're into minimalism or whatever. Default is on.
