These settings are basically the puppet master controls for how Gear Doodads show up & act like they know what they're doing.

Colorize Your Gear Text

Pick literally any color you want (we won't judge). This is the hue of the gear words that pop up on your screen.

Auto-Hide the Gear Label (So It Doesn't Stare at You)

By default, your gear name or number just hangs out in the lower left corner like a clingy ex. This setting lets you make it vanish after anywhere from half a second to 30 whole seconds. Breathe, gear. Give us some space.

Where Should Your Gear Live? (The Position Situation)

Out of the box, gear names chill in the lower left corner. But you're special, so you can move it around like it's furniture. Left, right, center. Top, middle, bottom. That's nine options total (plus "off" if you wanna pretend gears don't exist). Go wild.

Snap Back to Gear #1 (The Boomerang Effect)

When this is on (it is, by default), doing literally anything in a different gear yeets you straight back to gear one. Love that for you. Turn it off if you wanna stay put & actually use the gear you're in without getting mugged by the app.
