Your Jams (Hopefully You Know Some)

The songs list is totes your personal jukebox manager—it's where you go to obsess over your songs & pretend you're organized. From here you can cherry-pick tracks from whatever collection you're currently hyperfixatin' on. Let's break down the chaotic stuff you'll probably do in this screen:

Organizing Your Mess

You can flip between collections & untangle your library using the drawer thingy. Tap that tiny list icon in the upper left corner to yeet open the drawer & eyeball your collections like you actually know what you're doin'.

History

The collection name you're starin' at right now shows up in the title bar. You might see a lil' arrow chillin' to the right of it. Tap the name to peep the History of collections you've tormented or upcoming gigs you're freakin' about. You can bounce between collections or sets you've binged recently or desperately need later.

Note: Double-tap the title in the songs menu & ZOMG the list rockets to the top. Double-tap the song count at the bottom & it yeets to the bottom. You're welcome.

Dumping Songs Into Your Life

Creatin' & importin' songs is basically OnSong's entire personality. Tap that import button (the square with a down arrow, duh) in the lower right to unlock the Add Songs screen. From there you can raid multiple storage services & content providers to snag songs in like a million file formats.

Hand-Pickin' Songs

Tap the Select button up top right to enter editing mode—basically god mode for bulk song shenanigans without actually openin' 'em first. You can also tap & hold on a song (or a whole squad of selected songs) while you're in Editing Mode to unlock the Context Menu & do stuff.

Huntin' Down Songs

Tap that search bar & start typin' like your life depends on it—the Typeahead Search feature will track down songs with titles matchin' your keyboard smashing. If nothin' shows up or you tap the Search button on the keyboard, it'll do a deep dive through the entire song's guts.

Eyeballin' Songs

Songs are lined up as rows in this menu. Swipe your finger around like you're scrollin' through memes. When you've got more than 30 songs, BAM—an alphabetic index appears on the right side. Tap a letter & the list zooms to that zone. There's also section dividers to help you not get completely lost. The total song count chills at the bottom in the toolbar.

Each row's got an icon (the song's tiny picture), the song title, artist name, & the key. That second line? It shape-shifts dependin' on how you're sortin'. Tap the icon on the left to cycle through standard icons like you're shufflin' through trading cards. Tap a song to crack it open in the Song Viewer.

Obliteratin' Songs

Swipe right to left & BAM—delete button appears. If you're viewin' songs in a book, you get a Remove button that ditches the song from the book but keeps it lurkin' in your library. Tap it & poof—gone from the book. If you're in a collection like All Songs, the Delete button shows up instead. Tap that & it's permanently deleted from your whole library. Ouch.

How You Want It Sorted

Tap the sort button in the lower left to pick how you wanna organize this chaos. This opens the sort menu. The button shows you the current sort method with a lil' icon so you remember what you picked.

Doin' Stuff to Songs

Tap & hold on a song to pop open the Context Menu & perform extra actions. You got options, y'all.
