Whaddup, Texts & Junk

The messages menu lets you shout at your band peeps when you're rollin' with either OnSong Connect or Bühnenmonitor-Modus. These messages flash on the screen with text & color to signal song dynamics without wavin' your hands around like a freakin' windmill or actually knowin' music theory.

Chat

Tap on the Chat option to type whatever random thing pops into your head & send it without preplanin' it like a normal person. You can send as much word vomit as you want. This shows up in the biggest font we could squeeze in there. Chats roll through as grey text.

Now Playing

This blasts info about the song you're starin' at right now — title, artist, key, capo, tempo, & time signature. Basically everything except whether your bandmate remembered to bring their instrument.

Up Next

This sends the deets about the next song comin' up — title, artist, key, capo, tempo, & time signature. Spoiler alert: y'all probably still won't be ready.

Start

Sends a start command with a green flash & text. Go go go!

Continue

Sends a continue command with a yellow flash & text. Keep goin', genius.

Stop

Sends a stop command with a red flash & text. Finally.

Add

Sendin' messages fast is literally the only way you'll actually communicate with your band. OnSong^® comes with some pre-made messages, but obvi you can add or edit your own custom ones too. Tap the + button to unlock the New Message Screen.

Edit

Tap the Edit button in the top right corner to switch to edit mode & pretend you know what you're doin'. From here you can shuffle your messages around or make 'em actually say somethin' useful.
