Yo, What Even Are Messages?

So your band's playin' live & nobody can hear a bleepin' thing over the noise. Hand wavin' & screamin' ain't cuttin' it, amirite? ZOMG, what if you could just flash colors & text at 'em like some kinda rave? Plot twist: you can.

Get It Together

Wanna make fancy personalized messages? Head to the Msg-O-Matic Menu. Yeah, you can trigger 'em from there too, but srsly—when you're actually playin' a gig, use a Hot Corner or Foot Pedals like a normal human.

Peep Those Messages

Messages show up on your device, other devices runnin' OnSong Connect, or fancy external screens set up as Stage Monitors. Each word gets about a third of a second—enough time to read it before your brain melts. Wanna make 'em linger longer? Dig into Settings » Display Stuff » Song Viewer » Flash Message.

Blast Those Messages Out

Fire off messages by triggerin' a Send Message action in the Action Hamburger inside OnSong. Set it up for Hot Corners or Navigation Zones in Editors » Navigation » Screen Tab.

Or just configure your foot pedals in the Foot Pedals Setup screen & tell 'em to trigger the Send Message action from the Action Hamburger. Boom.
